More than just being important, Fire Risk Assessments are a legal necessity. After the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Fire Certificates are no longer issued and have no legal status. Instead, fire risk assessments are mandatory requirements for every organisation and are enforced by the fire brigade.
