Job description

Job title: Health and Safety Consultant

Responsible to: Operations Director

Hours of work: Full Time (Flexible)

Pay Scale: Starting salary £40k - £45k (depending on experience)

Location: London

Summary of main responsibilities

  • Working fixed days at clients premises as their health and safety advisor
  • Report writing
  • Building relationships with client
  • Responding to ad-hoc H&S related queries
  • Undertaking health and safety audits and inspections
  • Advising clients on specific issues
  • Accessing and administering elements of the Blue Lemon H&S Software
  • Presenting board reports to clients
  • Attending H&S committee meetings
  • Project work
  • Undertaking other administration duties as dictated by the needs of the organization
  • Liaising with current and potential clients
  • Promotion of services
  • Achieving key performance indicators (mainly quality KPI's)
  • Other duties as dictated by the needs of the organisation.

  • Approximately 70% of clients will be Theatres or Production companies, so a knowledge of this environment would be beneficial, however training will be provided
