The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations require that all work equipment be maintained in an efficient state, in efficient order and in good repair.

RB health and Safety Solutions recommend that inspection of your evacuation chair should be undertaken on a quarterly basis, this should be increased if the frequency of use rises. An evacuation chair must also always be inspected after use.
