Spirometry tests detect early damage from exposure to hazardous substances that can cause ill health such as Occupational Lung Disease, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) and Occupational Asthma.
Our healthcare professional will carry out a spirometry test on-site, using advanced equipment and a wealth of knowledge, the Spirometry test will take no longer than 20 minutes. Minimising any disruption to a normal working day.
The test will measure how much air an employee can breathe out in one forced breath using a spriometer.
Results will be discussed with the employee and a summary report of the results will be forwarded to the employer.
If any abnormalities are detected, a referral will be made to the company or the employees GP.
