This Level 3 Award in Counter-Terrorism Protective Security and Preparedness is a UK-regulated qualification developed in partnership with Counter Terrorism Policing and the National Counter-Terrorism Security Office (NaCTSO). It is designed to give candidates the knowledge and practical understanding needed to strengthen protective security, assess risk, and improve preparedness within their organisation.
The course focuses on how terrorist threats present in real environments, how to identify vulnerabilities, and what proportionate measures can be put in place to reduce risk. It also supports organisations preparing for the requirements of the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (Martyn’s Law).
