Health and Safety for Childcare Providers is a course for managers and supervisors working within a childcare setting. This innovative course is specifically designed to cover the OFSTED requirements for settings and childcare providers within Health and Safety. The course enables candidates to understand and complete a Health and Safety Policy and Risk Assessments.

It is essential for all those who have a role that includes responsibility for the management of health and safety issues, including managers, supervisors and senior safety personnel.
What Will They Learn?
Candidates will gain an in-depth knowledge of how to produce and implement Health and Safety within their childcare setting. Candidates will receive the following to take back to their settings and implement:
One cd copy of the health and safety file - Contents include: Health and Safety Policy Document (Template), Risk Assessment (Template) & Risk Assessments

Certificate:
- Candidates receive an RB Health and Safety certificate upon completion of the course
Additional follow up Day course Information (if required):
Following completion of the course each candidate/venue will be given (if agreed) either:
A. Desk top audit from our health and safety tutor who will offer email or telephone guidance advising on the health and safety file, ensuring it has been completed correctly with general advise on the application of the policies and procedures to their specific workplace
Or
B. 1-1 audit from our health and safety tutor at one venue to be agreed, during which time candidates will be offered guidance and advice to ensure that the files have been completed correctly with general advise on application of the policies and procedures to their specific workplace
