Candidates on this course will learn basic first aid, how to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and have the confidence to assess a casualty/situation until help arrives.

The Basic Life Support training course is suitable for anyone.
What Will They Learn?
How to approach and assess an adult casualty safely, commence resuscitation or place the casualty in the recovery position as required.
Course Content:
- Assess the situation in an emergency;
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is unconscious;
- Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation;
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is wounded and bleeding;
- Administer first aid to a casualty who is suffering from shock;
- Slips trips and falls;
- Treatment of shock;
- Minor injuries
Certificate:
- All Candidates receive an RB Health and Safety Solutions Certificate valid for 3 years on successful completion of the course.
